NCE Switchgear, research, development and design are the three areas
where the company concentrates its most creative efforts. Employing
a team of highly motivated engineers, we seek to produce designs
that exceed client specifications in terms of both safety and innovation,
adding quality and value to the final product.
From
the initial brief we will promptly produce detailed technical
specifications and drawings, as well as material and production
schedules. These enable our clients to monitor their projects
and initiate the manufacturing process without delay.
Our
design team's technical experience and skills are further enhanced
by the use of state-of-the-art CAD/CAM equipment. Design Stations
are networked to plotting devices, central data files and DNC/CNC
production equipment with communications to external data sources.
High quality drawings are produced on film or paper and can also
be output/input on DXF/Iges or Auto Cad format.
STANDARD PRODUCTS
For less rigorous applications,
NCE Switchgear offers a cost-effective proprietary system for
the construction of TTA panels in standard arrangements.
Customers
need only supply us with the basic specifications and we will
quickly design the appropriate panel on our Cad system. Once the
design has been approved the panel can be swiftly assembled using
pre-fabricated modular components.
CUSTOMISED
PRODUCTS
To satisfy exacting specifications regarding
quality, safety, and durability under even the most onerous environmental
conditions, NCE Switchgear designs and manufactures customised
products for almost every situation.
To
ensure that we are able to maintain the highest quality standards
throughout the production process, our plant in Glasgow incorporates
a specialised paint shop and full welding facilities. We also
operate our own metal technology division, which utilises all
types of steel in the manufacture of panels, housings and enclosures.
We
are asked to produce customised products for consultants, end-users
and other switchgear manufacturers on a sub-contract basis.
